Dog Unit 2 (11-13) Intermediates Project
This project is for member’s ages 11-13 years old. This project offers opportunities and challenges to explore a wide range of activities related to dogs. Members will accomplish the following learning experiences:
- Obedience training
- Learn how to train a dog to obey certain beginning and novice level commands such as heel, sit, down, stand for examination, recall, finish and the figure eight
- Investigate dog breed origins
- Find out why dogs are neutered or spayed
- Compare dog foods
- Learn how to communicate about dogs
