4-H Judges Training
Attached is registration information for the 4-H judge's training that will be held at the Douglas County Extension office on March 25 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The registration fee is $15 if received by March 25 or $20 at the door. Grapevine Talk
Some of you may have heard through the grapevine that the State 4-H office has been looking into the 4-H Plus! enrollment system. Here's the scoop. I arranged for a 4-H Plus! demonstration with Chuck Nash that was presented to the Extension IT staff, along with the Blue Ribbon support team, support staff from two county Extension offices, and myself. The outcome of the demonstration is that the group felt the differences in the 4-H Plus! enrollment system, along with the challenges of changing the fair management systems in various counties, did not warrant the pain and expense of a change in enrollment systems at this time.
We gave it an objective look and made the best decision we could for our statewide 4-H program. - Jeff Goodwin
